Description

A Silent Retreat is an old way of getting away with God, finding spiritual nourishment and listening for God’s voice. Ignatius of Loyola structured this retreat for his followers almost 500 years ago, and it is one of the best things you can do for your spiritual life. This form of retreat, once experienced, is something, you can repeat on your own. All you need is a quiet, private place.

We gather on Friday, have a meal together and a time of worship where we explain the purpose and process of the weekend. We make a vow of silence on that evening that we keep until Sunday morning. Throughout the weekend we gather for brief times of worship and you will have access to our priests for times of counsel. We conclude Sunday with a morning Eucharist.
